CONTRIBUTIONS

MODUS OPERANDI OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS

Contributing to the works of the Sorbonne Doctoral Law Review can be done within the framework of its scientific events as well as its scientific publications.

I - Contribution to the Review's scientific events

Contribution to the review's scientific events requires cumulatively:

A) to present orally a contribution prepared in writing during a scientific event organized by the journal and then to answer questions from the public if necessary;

B) to submit in writing the contribution revised and corrected a posteriori for its subsequent publication in the journal.

II - Contribution to the Review's scientific publications

Contribution to the review's scientific publications requires cumulatively:

A) to submit the written contribution in response to a call for contributions;

B) to comply with the formal and substantive conditions below.

CONDITIONS OF FORM AND SUBSTANCE OF PUBLICATIONS

The conditions below are sine qua non from publication to the review.

1) The submitted contribution document is in word format (.doc or .docx) and does not contain any personal data or data allowing - directly or not - the identification of the author (surname, first name, establishment, address, thanks, etc.).

2) Any contribution is exclusively written in a legal discipline: private law (01), public law (02), history of law (03) or political science (04).

3) Any contribution strictly applies the apolitical and non-denominational editorial line of the journal.

4) Any submission resulting from academic work (research file, dissertation, thesis, etc.) or any other unpublished document must have been reworked in order to constitute an independent publication.

5) Any submission must be made using the style sheet appearing on this page.

5) Submitters must be the authors and have produced original work, not previously published, written in French or English, of a high editorial and scientific level and systematically cite their sources by referencing them in footnotes.

6) The actual publication of the contributions is carried out subject to proofreading and approval by the reading committee or, if necessary, by the scientific council.

7) Corrections - of form or substance - prior to the publication of contributions may be required from authors.

8) Any fraud, any plagiarism, any misinterpretation exposes the submitted contribution to refusal of publication or its withdrawal.

9) The authors respect the principle of double-blind proofreading and therefore do not seek to identify or contact the members of the reading committee or the scientific council, before or after submission of their contribution (any attempt in this direction automatically results in the refusal of publication or withdrawal of the submitted contribution).
